A special weather forecast webpage for Ayodhya launched by IMD

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) created a dedicated webpage on Thursday that provides weather-related information for Ayodhya and surrounding areas, with only four days remaining before the much-anticipated consecration event at the Ram temple. The webpage provides data on wind patterns, humidity, precipitation, and temperature forecasts. From January 17 to January 24, a weekly forecast is displayed in the following main languages: Hindi, English, Urdu, Chinese, French, and Spanish.

In addition, users may get a weather bulletin in Hindi and English that includes a seven-day forecast as well as sunrise and sunset times. The primary consecration event is scheduled for January 22, and the IMD predicts that the minimum temperature will be 10.7 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature will be 22.2 degrees Celsius. Ayodhya recorded a temperature of 11.6 degrees Celsius on Thursday. In addition, the website provides meteorological data for several other cities, including Prayagraj, Varanasi, Lucknow, and New Delhi.

The consecration of Ram Temple

On January 22, at 12:30 p.m., the Ram Temple in the holy city of Ayodhya will be consecrated. The main guest at the magnificent occasion will be Prime Minister Narendra Modi. There are thousands of people invited to the event, including politicians, celebrities, and saints. A seven-day "Pran Pratishtha" that started on Tuesday is being organized in Ayodhya in advance of the event. A day after the idol toured the temple grounds, on the third day of the Vedic ceremonies, the idol of Ram Lalla is placed in the Ram temple's Garbh Grah (sanctum sanctorum). Rituals including Aushadhadhivas, Kesaradhivas, Ghritadhivas, Dhanyadhivas, Pushpadhivas, and Madhyadhivas will take place throughout the course of the following three days.

The Ram Lalla idol has reached the temple

The idol of Ram Lalla reached the Ayodhya temple late Wednesday evening and was lifted using a crane to place it in the sanctum sanctorum where it will be installed ahead of 'Pran Pratistha' ceremony. The idol, which weighs between 150 and 200 kg and was made of black stone by Mysuru sculptor Arun Yogiraj, was hoisted off the truck that arrived at the temple during the nighttime parade by a crane. Additionally, there was a brief, symbolic stoppage of the procession at the Hanumangarhi shrine in Ayodhya.

A later photo saw the statue being positioned within the temple's sanctum sanctorum while the staff observed. Before the statue was brought inside, a special puja was performed in the sanctum sanctorum. According to Nripendra Mishra, chairperson of the Shri Ram Mandir Construction Committee, it is probably going to be installed in the sanctum Sanctorum on Thursday. Wednesday was the first day of the seven-day ceremonies leading up to Monday's Pran Pratishtha ceremony when the idol was first taken inside the temple. A silver statue of Ram Lalla, adorned with marigolds and roses, was seen touring the Ram temple grounds this evening. This is not the same idol that will be placed in the sanctum sanctorum. Part of the ceremonies being carried out in the lead-up to the January 22 event was a "Kalash Pujan" today.
