The 'Ahlan Modi' event had so much anticipation from the Indian diaspora that last week registrations were closed, with over 65,000 people registered. The number of participants on February 13 will be restricted based on the stadium's seating capacity in order to adhere to UAE regulations. With 3.5 million members, the Indian expat community is the largest ethnic group in the United Arab Emirates, making up nearly 35% of total population. The activity will display India’s rich cultural diversity along with many reputed artist showcasing their talent. The term 'Nari Shakti' within the Indian community has responded with great enthusiasm and support. As per the organizing committee, a considerable number of them have registered and are actively promoting the event, exemplifying the values of women's empowerment, communal harmony, and involvement.
During the visit Prime Minister will also talk about strengthening the bond between this two countries via several strategic decision and much more with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Singh also continued, "Following the directives of UAE authorities, the numbers of attendees are limited on the 13th at Ahlan Modi by the seating capacity of Zayed Sports City Stadium and the realistic traffic and parking management as attendees are coming to Abudhabi from all over the seven Emirates."
