A shocking murder case emerged out of Mangolpuri, where a woman of 35, who is said to have been murdered by her 22-year-old boyfriend in a PG housing

How the Murder Happened

Suspect forced the woman to the ground, pinned and smothered her with a blanket and strangled her to death. She also sustained injuries to her forehead while attacked. The accused hid her body inside a bed storage box in the room after the murder. 

Body Found in Shocking Condition

Shocking Condition-Body Found. The case came to light when the PG owner returned home and found something strange. He found a leg poking out of the bed box.

Accused Not Alone

Police said the main accused’s friend and uncle had been at the spot with him and apparently aided his escape after the crime. All three have now been arrested. Investigators are also investigating whether the woman met with sexual harassment prior to the murder.

What Led to the Crime.

Under questioning, the accused admitted that he killed the woman in a fit of anger after she denied the other two men physical intimacy.

Victim Details.

The woman, a domestic worker living in Mangolpuri, is survived by her husband and three children. The accused operates a chicken shop near her house. 

Police Action

A case was registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for murder and destruction of evidence. The body has been sent for post-mortem.
