Man Stabbed to Death After Fight on Mumbai Local Train
A normal trip home turned into a tragic event when 22-year-old Mayank Lohar was stabbed to death inside a crowded Mumbai local train. This happened after Mayank Lohar got into a fight with another man over keeping the train door open during the rain.

A Normal Day Turned into Horror
Mayank Lohar worked at a store in Andheri West. He sold things to people at the Westside store. After work, he got on the train from Andheri station to go home to Virar. The train was going from Churchgate to Nallasopara. It was a fast train.
That evening, it started raining a lot in Mumbai. Many people were trying to go home because of the rain. The trains were very crowded.
Mayank Lohar was standing near the door of the train. Another man, named Suvarna, was also standing near the door. Suvarna was 30 years old.
The Fight Over the Train Door
The police said that one man wanted to keep the door open. The other man did not want to keep it open because rain was coming into the train. The fight started because of this.
The fight got worse as the train was moving from Andheri to Borivali stations. People saw the two men fighting.

When the train stopped at Borivali station, Suvarna ran out of the train. He disappeared into the crowd.

Mayank Lohar's father asked the police to do something about it.

The Police Are Looking for the Man
The police started looking for Suvarna in Mumbai.
They made many teams to find him. They looked at pictures from cameras in Andheri, Borivali, and other places.
They found out that Suvarna was from Mira Road. He worked near the Mumbai airport.
The police said that Suvarna went home and told his father about the fight. He was scared of being caught, so he tried to run from the city.
The police found him in Panvel and caught him.
