Fitness influencer, artist, and Bigg Boss 18 star Rajat Dalal became one of the most powerful contestants on the reality show The 50. After the show ended and contestants returned to their homes, shortly after he returned, Rajat made an appointment at a doctor’s clinic and had surgery for a tendon tear

Rajat Dalal reveals details of injury

After posting pictures from the hospital, Rajat recently posted a health update to his fans. The images showed him lying on a hospital bed with a large bandage on his right hand, which worried many of his followers. To calm them down, he later posted another Instagram Stories video detailing the situation. 

 In that video, Rajat explained that he tore a tendon on his first day shooting The 50. Back then the wound was about 2.8 cm and needed immediate surgery. But already devoted to the show, he chose not to give up at the halfway point. When one of the physically exhausting tasks on the show came to pass, the injury deteriorated to a tear of 3 cm. Rajat eventually went to the doctor he liked the most after finishing the shoot, and planned the surgery. 

Sharing something about it he said, “The surgery today went well. Everything is fine now.” He also wrote — posting his hospital photographs — “A person learns how to get up only after falling.”

The series premiered on February 1, 2023 and has been attracting attention for its intense tasks and strategic play.
