Yuvraj Singh Could Join Delhi Capitals
Meanwhile Delhi Capitals are also expected to improve their coaching team. Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh might join the franchises support staff. Pant and Yuvraj worked together before IPL 2026. Their reunion could be another reason behind Pants possible return.
Sourav Ganguly Set for Return
In another development former India captain Sourav Ganguly is expected to return as the head of cricketing affairs after JSW took control of the franchises management operations.
Reports also suggest that current head coach Hemang Badani might not continue with the team. Delhi Capitals finished sixth in the IPL 2026 standings leading the management to think about changes, before the next season.
What Happens Next?
With Pants return looking Delhi Capitals could be heading into a new era. The biggest question now is whether KL Rahul will stay and fight for his place or choose to enter the auction and start a chapter elsewhere.
