New Delhi (India) August 8: In a quite surprising public appeal early on Saturday, Team India wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant directly requested Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to help him buy land in the state so that he could shift his base from Delhi and build his first abode at his home state.

Born in Roorkee (Haridwar) in Uttarakhand, Pant polished his cricketing skills there before travelling to Delhi to pursue the sport further on a professional basis and then went on to represent the country as a leading wicketkeeper batsman in all three formats of the game.

Pant Says Finding Suitable Land Has Been Difficult

Pant took social media platform X and tagged Chief Minister Dhami in a long post urging him to allot him some land there for an earnest settlement. He said that for the last three years, he has been trying to find suitable land in the state but could not find something meeting his demands.

Cricketer Clarifies He Wants To Buy Land
