28 August 2023, Mumbai: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has officially announced the commencement of bookings and revealed the pricing for its latest offering, the Toyota Rumion. Recently unveiled, this compact B-MPV is expected to redefine standards in terms of space, comfort, fuel efficiency, and stylish design. The vehicle comes in six different grades and is set to be available at attractive ex-showroom prices ranging from Rs. 10.29 lakh to Rs. 13.68 lakh, with deliveries starting from September 8th.
A Familiar Yet Distinctive Design
The Toyota Rumion bears some resemblance to the Ertiga, yet it boasts unique design elements. The front grille and bumper are inspired by the Innova Crysta, featuring a hexagonal radiator grille with chrome lining and distinct triangular fog lamp housing. The alloy wheel design has also been updated to add to its distinctive appeal.
Interior Enhancements and Technology Integration
Inside the cabin, subtle cosmetic changes have been made while retaining the three-row, 7-seater layout. Toyota offers a total of six variants of the Rumion. In addition to the features available in the Ertiga, the Rumion is equipped with Toyota i-Connect, enhancing the infotainment and connectivity offerings.
Power-packed Performance
Under the hood, the Toyota Rumion is powered by a 1.5-litre K series petrol engine that includes the Neo Drive (ISG) and E-CNG technology. These features contribute to an impressive fuel efficiency of 20.51 km/l for the Petrol variant and 26.11 km/kg for the CNG variant. The Rumion is available with both 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission configurations.
