BJP Woman MP accused Rahul Gandhi on pushing and threatening her in Parliament.

Misbehaviour Allegations
Phangnon Konyak, a BJP MP from Nagaland, expressed her distress in a formal letter addressed to the Rajya Sabha Chairman. She stated, "LoP Rahul Gandhi came close. I did not like it, and he started shouting. Whatever happened today is very sad. This should not happen. We did not like the way they threatened."
Request for Protection
In her letter, Konyak requested protection from Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar, highlighting that the incident had "severely hurt her dignity and self-esteem." She added, "I have also complained to the Chairman."
Context of the Incident
The fight happened as the INDIA bloc and the NDA during parallel protests against Amit Shah's comments about Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. Two BJP MPs were hurt in a clash that broke out during these protests.
Government's Response
Rahul Gandhi's actions were called "shameful" by Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, and called for an apology from the Congress party. He stressed that Parliament should not become a "wrestling ground" and that such conduct was intolerable.
Opposition's Stand
These allegations have not yet received a response from the Congress party. The incident has intensified the ongoing tensions between the opposition and the ruling BJP, particularly concerning the legacy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
