Doctors dispute “torture” charge in relation to alleged gang-rape of a Delhi woman

According to authorities, a 36-year-old Delhi lady was allegedly abducted by five men in Ghaziabad, gang-raped, and tortured for two days. The survivor, who is still in the hospital, knew each of the five males. According to the authorities, four of the accused have been detained. Swati Maliwal, the head of the Delhi Commission for Women, tweeted that the woman is in a “very severe condition with an iron rod remaining within her.”

On Tuesday, the satellite town of Ghaziabad’s police received a report of a woman who was found lying close to Ashram Road, which connects it to Delhi. When she complained, the police transported her to the Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital.

The woman was dropped off at a bus stop by her brother while she was travelling back to Delhi from a birthday celebration in Ghaziabad, according to the police. According to the police, a car approached the woman as she waited for the bus, and five guys dragged her inside. They allegedly transported her to an unnamed place and sexually assaulted her there.

“They (the accused and the survivor) allegedly have a property dispute, and the case is currently in court. We are acting in the best manner possible “Ghaziabad’s superintendent of police, Nipun Agarwal, said news organisation ANI.

The woman is stable, according to GTB Hospital, and is being watched. They stated, “No internal damage has been discovered to date.”
