The J&K DGP of the Prisons Department was found dead at his residence

Hemant Kumar Lohia, the J&K DGP of the Prisons Department, was discovered dead on Monday at his Jammu home. People’s Anti-Fascist Force, a terrorist organisation, has taken credit for the murder.

The People’s Anti-Fascist Force (PAFF), an Indian affiliate of Lashkar-e-Taiba, has taken credit for the murder of Jammu and Kashmir DGP (Prisons Department) Hemant Kumar Lohia. 

On Monday, October 3, Lohia, 57, was discovered dead at his house outside of Jammu. According to the police, he had burn injuries all over his body, including a cut throat. 

Yasir, Lohia’s domestic assistance, was named by police as the primary suspect. The suspect is the subject of a manhunt. According to police sources, CCTV footage found at the location of the incident showed the suspect fleeing shortly after the murder.
