Rajouri Garden is considered one of Delhi’s busiest areas. Despite being so, such incidents of firing and killing happened. The incident took place on Tuesday at 9:42 pm in west Delhi’s Rajouri Garden when three shooters walked into the fast food outlet and fired at least 15 shots at the victim. After being shot several times at the Burger King in Rajouri Garden, Delhi, a man lost his life. The police were called immediately at 9:45 after the incident. The shooters fled away after firing.
DCP Vichitra Veer Says On The Incident
Officers and the police’s crime team inspected the spot. Police teams have been formed to gather information. An incident of firing took place at a Burger King outlet. The officials immediately reached the spot. As per the preliminary information, more than 10 rounds were fired,” DCP West Vichitra Veer said while speaking to reporters. “One person has died in the incident. We are trying to identify the victim,” the DCP said.
Victim Identified, Woman Vanished
Police sources said that the gang rivalry led to the killing of the man, identified as Aman. CCTV Footage at the outlet shows the man entering the Burger King and sitting at a table where a woman was already waiting. Later, the men entered and sprayed him with bullets. The woman also vanished.
A Wanted Gangster Claimed Himself Responsible For Firing
A day after the incident happened a gangster named Himanshu Bhai who fled India and is currently in Portugal shared a post on social media claiming that he and Naveen Bali (currently lodged in Tihar Jail) are responsible for the murder that took place in west Delhi’s Rajouri Garden on Tuesday night.
