4th June 2023, Mumbai: In a heartfelt interview with India Today, acclaimed actor Ashish Vidyarthi openly discussed the challenges and disagreements he faced with his ex-wife, Piloo Vidyarthi. The couple, realizing that their perspectives on the future had diverged, sought professional support and help before ultimately deciding to part ways. Reflecting on their 22-year marriage, Ashish described it as an amazing journey filled with fulfilling their responsibilities.
Recently, in a private ceremony, Ashish remarried his current partner, Rupali Barua, marking their second union. The wedding exuded elegance, with Ashish donning an off-white suit and Rupali stunning in a white and golden saree. Rupali, hailing from Guwahati, is an accomplished entrepreneur in her own right.
Ashish candidly shared his thoughts on the past, expressing, “We used to communicate a lot. However, over time, we realized that our differences were insurmountable. We sought professional assistance and had numerous discussions, but despite our best efforts, we came to the difficult realization that our marriage was not sustainable.” Ashish further emphasized that the decision was not made lightly, as both he and Piloo invested significant effort in trying to make it work.
During their separation, Ashish made it clear to Piloo that he didn’t want to live a solitary life. He expressed his desire for companionship and the need to share his future with someone. “Why should anyone stand in the way of my pursuit of companionship? It brings joy and security,” Ashish conveyed. Surprisingly, Piloo responded positively to his revelation, acknowledging her own evolving perspective on life. This mutual understanding allowed them to move forward separately, each embarking on their own individual paths.
