30th January each year marks the Death Anniversary of the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi.
30th January, 1948, Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated at point blank range by Nathuram Godse. Since then India celebrates 30th January as Martyr’s Day or Shaheed day to pay tribute to all our freedom Fighters and the Father of our Nation.
