So actually I went on Twitter and just begged people for money”.
Despite the unconventional approach, the stunt served a noble purpose. The Office actor, in his effort to raise funds for the charity named Family Reach, successfully garnered over $500,000. This initiative resulted in a significant and generous donation to the charity.

The amusing “blackmail” tactic seemed to have paid off, enabling the actor to raise a substantial sum for a charitable cause on his birthday.
The Jack Ryan star not only elicited laughter but also raised a significant amount for a noble cause, all thanks to a prank that would surely earn Jim Halpert’s approval.
