7th June 2023, Mumbai: Kareena Kapoor Khan has reached a state of professional enlightenment, where she strives for higher quality rather than quantity in her work. Her future decisions will reflect this newfound approach. One of her upcoming projects is “The Crew,” a film featuring Tabu and Kriti Sanon.

Contrary to the common perception of female actresses not getting along, this trio defies such notions by sharing delightful images from their photo shoot. They recently flew to Goa for the filming, fostering a positive and collaborative atmosphere.

Working with Tabu for the first time has sparked Kareena’s excitement. She acknowledges the successful collaborations between Tabu and her sister, Karisma Kapoor, which have resulted in several exceptional films. The entire team working on this movie consists of talented female employees, including the producers Rhea and Ekta Kapoor. Kareena appreciates their willingness to challenge conventions and explore new horizons, making her eagerly anticipate the project’s outcome. She is confident that the audience will adore this cinematic creation on the big screen.

Regarding her experience working with female performers, Kareena emphasizes her involvement in numerous films that focus on women. She has collaborated with many female actresses and believes that today, creating a good film is more important than fixating on the cast. She states, “Everybody just wants to do a good film.”

Kareena’s iconic performance in “Jab We Met” continues to be compared to her subsequent movies, even after all these years. While she understands the popularity of her characters Poo and Geet, she feels that films like “Chameli,” “Omkara,” “Heroine,” and “Yuva” deserve more recognition for her exceptional performances. She wonders why people aren’t discussing them as much. She acknowledges that actors have the privilege of choosing their roles and mentions her involvement in the project “The Devotion of Suspect X,” which presents a completely different side of her acting abilities.

Reflecting on the timeless appeal of “Jab We Met,” Kareena describes it as a dish cooked at home (“ghar ki khichdi”). Each time she watches it, she discovers something fresh, as if experiencing it for the first time. This unique quality of the film stems from its distinctive personality, which Kareena finds truly remarkable.
