22nd May 2023, Mumbai : One of the Finest actor of Bollywood Industry Manoj Bajpayee all set to deliver the upcoming OTT movie “ Sirf Ek Banda Kaafi hai”released on May 23. The actor seen in the movie as a lawyer who fighting, the Rape case against Godman.
Currently he is busy in promotion for his upcoming movie, Manoj Bajpayee spoke about sushant singh rajput while doing promotions, also he opened up,upon nepotism in the industry.
While talking to Aaj Tak, Manoj share his thought on the nepotism in the industry, how non star kid suffered from this things The nepotism is most used term and star kids also trolled on social media for this. Manoj Bajpayee revealed that he is not at all affected by the nepotism as a no star kid do the type of films that he does. He shared Nawaz karega, Irfan hota toh vo karta, Kaykay Menon karega. As these was no commercial films, so no one focuses on them and even doesn’t put money on them. I must thus add that you cannot make this an excuse all the time. Don’t waste your energy. Do theatre, if you are a good actor, you can even earn money by performing on the street.”
Further, he was asked about the death of Sushant singh rajput, reel Dhoni actor passed away on June 21, 2020.He was found dead at his apartment in Bandra. After his death, The storm of nepotism was raised. During the interview, Manoj said he is personally very affected by the news He said – they shared a close bond on the sets of Sonchiriya. Manoj said, “We really became close and he had so much love for me. I would often cook mutton on set and he would always come by to eat. We never knew he would take such a drastic step but he had opened up about his challenges to me.”
Manoj also said, the late actor can’t take the politics and groupism in the industry. He further added –“Industry mein politics humesha hota hai but it gets dirtier as you climb the ladder of success. I never had an issue as I was stubborn and thick-skinned. He wasn’t and thus could not manage the pressure. He had spoken to me about being worried about these things as it affected him.” When Manoj was asked if Sushant was a victim of nepotism, he said, “If you want to be a Manoj Bajpayee, there is no politics. But he wanted to be a star and there’s too much competition there. Anyone who enters the field to be a star would try their best to clinch that position. However, he couldn’t bear the same. I have realised that he was a pure soul and andar se baccha tha. He could not understand the manipulation that was needed.”
