14th March, Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor and shraddha kapoor starrer movie “Tu Jhooti Mai Makkar”recently got released on 08th of March on the festival of colors i.e on Holi. The movie started it’s earning at a slow pace and was not expected to earn more but eventually, the movie started grossing well and it has grossed more than 70 crores till now.
People have started liking the movie and therefore the movie is getting good responses from the audiences. The movie earned 17.08 crores on Sunday i.e on the fifth day after its release of the movie.
A collection of ₹ 17.08 in a single day is the biggest earning of the movie till now. The rom-com has kept up the earning at a good start. The film had kept up its decent earning from the very first day of its release the first-day collection was ₹ 15.73 crores whereas till the second day, the movie earned more than ₹28 crores and till the fifth day the movie earned a remarkable collection. The film was released on a holiday which gave it a plus point. The film is directed by luv Ranjan and the actors also had a first collaboration in the movie. The story of the movie revolves around a couple who don’t take love and relationships seriously but eventually they fall in love but due to some reasons they want to break up but none of them are able to break apart. The film also has supporting roles and actors such as Dimple kapadia, Boney Kapoor, and anubhav Bassi. The movie also includes cameo of Nushrratt Bharuccha and Kartik Aaryan. Talking about the critics,so the critics has also given mixed reviews, saying it a one time movie with a good music.
