10th March, Mumbai: The death of actor Satish Kaushik came as a sad surprise to fans and celebs alike. The beloved actor suffered from a heart attack on his way home in the early hours of the morning. Many celebrities took to their social media handles to express their sadness and to pay respects to the legendary icon. Kaushik was known for his roles as an actor and director in films like Mr India, Kagaz, Tere Naam, and many more. While the actor is no longer with his, his legacy in Bollywood lives on. Here are some of the actor’s works that are going to be released posthumously.
1. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan
The Salman Khan starrer film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan features Satish Kaushik. The movie features a significant role for Satish Kaushik. This year’s Eid holiday will see the release of the film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The additional cast includes Venkatesh Daggubati, Shehnaaz Gill, Raghav Juyal, Pooja Hegde, Siddharth Nigam, and Palak Tiwari. “Love this song.” Satish had posted a reel of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan song “Naiyo Lagda” last month. “The creation of this reel was impossible for @beingsalmankhan @realhimesh imkamaalkhan @palakmucchal3 @adachikan,” he tweeted.
2. Patna Shukla
The late actor Satish will appear in Patna Shukla, a film made by Arbaaz Khan, as a judge. It features Raveena Tandon as well. IANS quoted him as saying, “I am portraying the character of a judge for the first time in my career.” He said when asked about hicharacterer. “I’ll be playingArun Kr Jha, a respectable judge and a docile husband,” he further added.
Teaming up with his best friend Anupam Kher, Satish will be seen in slice-of-life life drama, along with Darshan Kumar and Neena Gupta.
4.Guns and Gulabs
Satish will also star in the web series Guns and Gulabas, alongwith Rajkumar Rao, Dulquer Salman, Adarsh Gourav, and Gulshan Devaiah. This comedy crime thriller, inspired by “Misfits of the World” is directed by Raj and D.K., and will be distributed via Netflix.
This historical drama is based on the life of the 75th president of India, Indira Gandhi. Directed by Kangana Ranaut, which is the actress’s directorial debut, this film will feature Satish playing the role of late defence minister Jagjivan Ram.
