Neena Gupta discussed her long association with Kaushik in her autobiography Sach Kahun Toh, which was published a few years ago. She also said that Kaushik advised her to pass the child off as his after getting married when she fell pregnant with cricketer Viv Richards’ child. During that time, Neena was single and worried about criticism for becoming a parent. Don’t worry, you can just pretend the child is mine and we’ll be married if it has dark complexion, he assured her. Nobody will have any suspicions. In a brief interview that followed, Kaushik discussed the incident and revealed that he and Neena had been friends since 1975 and that only a select few were aware of her pregnancy.

He claimed he offered to help so as to prevent her from being alone. He stated to Bombay Times, “I was worried about making sure she didn’t feel lonely. Friends are for that, right? At the end of the day. He claimed that he told her, “Main hoon na, tu chinta kyu karti hai?” before making his proposal to marry her. After that, their bond only got stronger, according to Kaushik. Jagjivan Ram also fought for freedom.

Last but not least…,” was the caption under which Kangana had made the announcement. He was one of the most admired leaders in Indian political history, and Emergency featured the powerhouse of talent Satish Kaushik as Jagjivan Ram. “Honoured to essay the character of Jagjivan Ram popularly known as Babuji, the most compassionate and the crusader of social justice in Kangana Ranaut directedorial Emergency,” said Kaushik at the time on Instagram.

Kaushik previously admitted to Indian Express that he immediately became typecast in comedy but over time developed his own diversity. “We are the ones who invented concepts like “villains” and “negative roles. Actually, the character you play is important. He has a good sense of humor and play the role of  the antagonist. Because of this, we occasionally come across gangsters that have unique personalities. Today, it’s about playing a quirky, possibly ruthless character,” he had stated.
