26th May 2023, Mumbai: Actress Rasika Dugal revealed that legendary actor Naseeruddin Shah is her guru. Rasika Dugal is well-known for her roles in the films “Mirzapur” and “Delhi Crime.” Rasika graduated from FTII and took Naseeruddin Shah’s classes there.
The Miniaturist of Junagadh, a short film in which Rasika and Naseeruddin Shah co-star, just celebrated its one-year anniversary of release, and Rasika revealed the information. Actress Rasika Dugal acknowledged that renowned performer Naseeruddin Shah is her role model. Rasika Dugal is well recognised for her performances in the films “Mirzapur” and “Delhi Crime.” Rasika attended Naseeruddin Shah’s studies at FTII after graduating.

In the 2022 short film The Miniaturist of Junagadh, directed by Kaushal Oza, retired miniaturist Husyn Naqqash, played by Naseeruddin Shah, and his family experience their final moments. In the princely state of Junagadh, the movie’s plot follows the family on their final day in their ancestral house.
