The gold mines of India form the hidden treasures that lay buried in its varied landscape, and this entire ecosystem holds the remnants of the glorious era influenced by the tales of riches and wealth. Although various are aware of Kolar Gold Fields being the most popular one, there are many gold mines across the country that have continued to remain less covered up with obscurity. Our research delves deep into the little talk history but in the process bring out seven such gold mines that people do not know of but still hold a lot in terms of economic and historical significance.

Hutti Gold Mines, Karnataka:

Weeded in the midst of verdant landscapes of Karnataka, Hutti Gold Mines, one of the oldest and the deepest of the underground mines of India, has its status firmly embedded in India's mining history.
