Farmers Angry again, Announcement to block Railway Tracks near Shambhu border today
NULL

On Sunday, the joint Kisan Morcha and Kisan-Majur Morcha staged protests across the country, including in Haryana and Punjab, against the central government and burnt an effigy of PM Modi. Apart from this, the farmers have announced to block the railway track near Shambhu border for an indefinite period today i.e. 9th April.

Protest by burning the effigy of the Prime Minister

Navdeep Jalveda and other farmer leaders were arrested by the police. After which the farmers protested against the central government demanding the immediate release of the farmer leaders and burnt the effigy of the Prime Minister.

The farmers demanded that their leaders be released immediately. Meanwhile, the farmers warned and announced to block the railway line near the Shambhu border for an indefinite period. Farmers have been standing on Shambhu border for a long time regarding several demands including MSP. Because several rounds of talks with the government have failed.

Negotiations with the government failed

Let us tell you that the farmers have been standing on the Shambhu border for a long time regarding their many demands including MSP. Because several rounds of talks with the government have failed. Now the stage of Lok Sabha elections has started in the country. In such a situation, the protest is going on peacefully. Let us tell you that during the talks the government agreed on many issues but the farmers were adamant on accepting all the issues.

Allegation of atrocities on central government

Buta Singh Kharajpur, district president of Bharatiya Kisan Mazdoor Union, said that on the behest of the central government, the governments of many states including Haryana have arrested our farmer leaders and thrown them in jail. He said that the protest will continue until the farmer leaders are released from jail. The farmer leader said that even after doing so much atrocities and arbitrariness on the agitating farmers, the central government is not stopping.

Dangerous for the Nation

While many renowned people have come out in support of the farmers and their protest, many experts also believe that these protests and series of anti-society activities destroying the threads of rule and regulations in the country is really dangerous. The government must try and come up with necessary solutions for the protests.

Will the protests affect Lok Sabha elections?

General elections in India are not far away. The election dates may not have been announced, but it is believed that a new government will be formed in the country within three months.

Amidst all this, the farmers have once again intensified their agitation. There is intense discussion in the political circles whether this movement started before the elections will present a tough challenge to the BJP?

Amidst these discussions, it is also coming to light that the farmers' movement that took place in the year 2020 and the organizations that were leading it, are not included in the movement this time.
