IIM Kozhikode Elects New Executive Committee (AANRP) to Lead 7000+ Global Alumni for 2025–2027 Term

The IIM Kozhikode Alumni Association (IIMKAA) has announced the election of nine distinguished alumni to its Executive Committee (EC) for the 2025–2027 term. Representing over 7,000 alumni across the globe, the newly elected team brings leadership from venture capital, technology, insurance, digital transformation, architecture, and civic development.


The Nine Elected Members of the IIMKAA Executive Committee

1. Rohan Raj Kulkarni (Hyderabad)

A dynamic entrepreneur and Founder of Kaizer X, Rohan has led ventures in venture capital, political consulting, and media. Former Country Manager at Directa 24 India, he brings rich experience across fintech, offshore structuring, and startup licensing. A political-media strategist, he is building platforms that intersect youth leadership, journalism, and public discourse. Rohan envisions transforming the IIMK alumni network into a powerhouse of founder funding, public leadership, and strategic collaboration. He will spearhead initiatives like the Alumni Podcast Series, Job Referral Platform, Alumni Startup Funding, Theme-Based City Events, Moonshot Startup Immersion, Alumni Awards Summit, and the IIMK Lounge to create a truly dynamic alumni experience. His work focuses on enabling hiring platforms, funding access, and global alumni visibility.

2. Venkatesh Veerappa (Bangalore)

Currently Manager – Customer Success at Informatica, Venkatesh combines his mechanical engineering background with over 20 years of experience in technology. A civic enthusiast and people-first leader, he is committed to strengthening regional alumni networks through engagement activities and grassroots collaborations. He aspires to build a more participative, locally active alumni community with city-level leadership and job mobility support. He brings a sharp focus on civic development and enabling industry connections.

3. Bhaskar Chowdhury (Kolkata)

Bhaskar brings 21 years of experience in the IT and Telecom industry. His professional journey is encapsulated in the acronym CODE: starting with Cognizant (C), moving to Oracle (O), Deloitte (D), and currently Ericsson (E). As the City Chapter Head of IIMKAA Kolkata, he hosted two successful Sangams and is actively involved in the Development Office Committee. His initiatives include launching the IIMK Club concept in Bangalore and expanding the alumni health insurance scheme across cities. Bhaskar believes in building cross-city cohesion and alumni welfare infrastructures. His strategic depth and relentless execution make him a cornerstone for national chapter development.

4. Nivedita Jaiswal (Mumbai)

An Assistant Vice President at Marsh India, Nivedita brings over a decade of rich experience across the BFSI sector. Her focus lies in political risk, cross-border insurance, and strategic advisory for high-impact clients. A passionate advocate for women in leadership, she aims to amplify diverse voices, foster inclusive mentorship ecosystems, and champion innovation within the IIMK alumni framework. She envisions building a globally inclusive alumni identity that scales emerging leaders. She also aims to enable emerging startups and social innovation ventures.

5. Elamukil Tamil (Chennai)

Elamukil, currently Head of Services at CodeStax.Ai, has played strategic roles in SAP and Citi leading major digital transformation programs. He brings deep technical expertise in AI, sustainability, and cloud architecture to the EC. With a future-focused mindset, he plans to establish ESG-driven alumni initiatives and build AI-powered alumni collaboration platforms globally. His vision includes building platforms that inspire innovation and climate-conscious entrepreneurship across IIMK’s alumni ecosystem.

6. Kiran Mistry (Mumbai)

Kiran is a seasoned infrastructure and design leader, presently heading operations at VSL International. With prior leadership roles at FHD Group and Edifice Consultants, he has contributed to urban development and architectural innovation. He envisions building a mentoring bridge between industry veterans and young alumni while enabling thought leadership in sustainable infrastructure. Kiran’s long-term view includes city-based alumni co-working models and infrastructure fellowships. His legacy projects aim to inspire collaborative learning and green innovation.

7. Manas Mayur (Bangalore)

Manas is an analytics leader who has played an instrumental role in alumni engagement over the past three years. From hosting podcasts and organizing Sangams to leading job boards and welfare programs, he has consistently contributed to the community. His vision includes building a full-scale Career Mobility Cell, launching the Kares Charitable Fund, and driving inter-batch synergy for all 7000+ alumni. Manas also aims to deepen the EPGP brand through storytelling and mentoring bridges. His initiatives are rooted in empathy, access, and alumni upliftment.

8. Karthikeyan Subramaniam (Kochi)

Founder and CEO of Expericia, Karthikeyan is a multi-domain entrepreneur with platforms like Coligo and Recruiter Wings under his belt. He brings immense experience in digital product building, fintech, and recruitment tech ecosystems. He aims to launch a dedicated alumni startup accelerator, forge cross-border investor connect programs, and strengthen the entrepreneurial fabric of the IIMK community. His work focuses on regional innovation clusters tied to the alumni ecosystem. His leadership brings a founder-first approach to community building.

9. Pradeep Sibbala (Bangalore)

A product leader with over 15 years of experience, Pradeep has led innovations across e-commerce, payments, fast checkout, and B2B SaaS. Known for operational depth and startup scalability, he excels in GTM strategy, SOPs, partnerships, and customer onboarding. An alumnus of IIT Madras, he blends deep technical insight with business agility. He fosters strong team culture and believes in peer-led transformation. Pradeep aims to launch AI-focused SIGs, digital-first alumni communities, and represent IIMK in global innovation forums.

The new EC will hold its first committee meeting later this month to establish leadership roles, subcommittees, and launch flagship programs for the term. With this diverse and visionary team, the IIM Kozhikode alumni network is poised to enter a new chapter of collaboration, growth, and global visibility.
