I think the best destination for any tourist in India would be Goa because it’s just very diverse and it has multiple cultures. It has a very good mix of beaches and even the weather is very favorable. So it has always been my go-to destination and it is easily accessible. There are a lot of flights that go to Goa. So it is one of the best tourist destinations in India and if you ask me where I want to go then it will definitely be Kashmir because that’s one place that I have not been to and I have been dying to go. So now that I’m living in Goa I would love to go to Kashmir.

People are more attracted by the concept of taking a trip overseas even though India is so large and has so many wonders to discover.  Well, the Himalayas are my favourite but rarely get a chance to visit there.  It makes you feel as if you have reached somewhere a paradise that has much to offer with its beautiful appearance. It is fast emerging as a major tourist destination in the country.  And I think everyone should travel, not a long holiday vacation but should take a short getaway whenever possible. You sometimes need a break so the ideal location for a short and rejuvenating trip is Alibaug, where I go when I have time on weekends.

One cannot deny the fact that traveling to Goa makes life easier. I have stopped keeping track of how many times I have visited Goa since I simply never get enough of it. Every time I visit, I get to discover brand-new cafés, making me fall in love all over again. Goa beaches are undoubtedly one of the city’s top attractions. Goa will always hold a particular place in my heart, no matter where I am in the world.

My favourite place to visit in India is Chandigarh, which is where I was brought up. The last trip was to Jaipur to indulge in the city’s beauty. My experience can be summed up in one word: extraordinary.  The city is well-known for its palaces and forts, and it was at the top of my list of things to do. The architecture, the richness, and the entire mood were just as I had pictured them to be. The memories of this experience will last a lifetime. I can’t wait to explore more.

India is a beautiful country and there are a lot of places but Goa, If any year I missed a Goa trip then that year is incomplete for me. I have a good sweet memory of Goa.  I have been to Goa many times and the best part is every year I go with different people. If I go with different people, I see Goa from their perspective and explore that place from their perspective. First I went with my best friend, next time I went with my sister and best friend and then I went there with the girls. It’s not intentional, it just happens. Soon I’m planning for Goa, so again I will be going with different people with whom I have never been. It’s the one place that I can go to again and again. Travelling is a stress buster and it’s just going away from Mumbai for a while, staying in a different environment,  exploring places, and between cultures, it is an important part of your life after working so much you have to take a break for yourself and go out. So it’s good and it gives you more peace and breaks from your work. You get fresh and then back to your work. I do not travel frequently but I try. But once the show went off the air, I travelled to Rishikesh. Even if I can’t travel somewhere far, if I’m working, maybe I go for a short vacation nearby like Nashik, Igatpuri, Alibaugh, there are a lot of places where they have created very beautiful resorts which are in the middle of the jungle or nearby or away from the city, pollution free etc. My dream destination is Ladakh, Nepal. I have never been there and they are very beautiful. These are the destinations in India which I hope to enjoy.

There are two places I would love to visit again and again. One is Dharamshala. It is on the mountain, near Shimla and Manali. The reason is the energy of that place is very calming and soothing. As an energy healer, I always connect with the energy and Buddhist monasteries. The people are very pleasant and it’s a nice place to go for a solo trip and just find your own peace. Second, I also love beaches equally. So the second place is Andaman Island is the only Island where you can find blue water out of all the beaches in India. There are a few small islands in Andaman and Nicobar, one is Neil Island, and Ross Island, these are the islands which are so small, and the food is amazing. On Ross Island, you can play with deer and peacocks. Usually, we see these animals and birds in zoos and national parks which are not accessible to us but here on this island, we can walk along the deer and peacock, touch them, and take pictures with them. So these are two places which are so memorable and I would love to visit them again and again whenever I get time.
