 Facilitating market systems. Embracing India’s Mission LiFE strategy on World Environment Day is of utmost importance. By adopting practices such as purchasing solar-powered equipment and energy-efficient appliances, we can reduce excessive consumption and emissions. Research conducted by CEEW indicates that only 3% of Indian households with fans utilize energy-efficient models, out of the 90% who own fans. Shifting to highly energy-efficient fans nationwide would not only decrease emissions but also save the government substantial amounts in power subsidies and reduce annual residential power consumption by 15%.
