The list includes a prohibition on accompanying narcotics like cocaine, heroin, and cannabis, along with betel leaves, ivory, gambling tools, and goods on boycotts from countries. Furthermore, counterfeit currency, artworks, non-vegetarian dishes, and printed materials are also restricted. There are items listed that require prior payment and clearance before being bought into the country, which include plants, fertilizers, specific medications and medical equipment, electronic devices, cosmetics, e-cigarettes, books, and alcoholic beverages. Restricted medications include amphetamine, codeine, codoxime, methadone, opium, oxycodone, and alpha-methylfentanyl. Any set of passengers traveling to Dubai must be familiarized with these new rules.
