Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Visit To Italy
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Italian politician Giorgia Meloni recently met on June 14 to review the progress of the bilateral strategic partnership and agreed to strengthen cooperation in global fora and multilateral initiatives, including the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor. Prime Minister Modi was invited by the Italian Prime Minister to attend the G7 Summit. Modi and Meloni met towards the end of Prime Minister Modi’s day-long visit to Apulia, southern Italy.
Meloni Influenced By Indian Culture, Greets People at G7 With Namaste
“Both leaders look forward to joint activities to be implemented under the Indo-Pacific Ocean Initiative framework to fulfill their shared vision for a free and open Indo-Pacific,” the Ministry of External Affairs said, amidst China’s aggressive actions in the region. After the meeting the fans took to Instagram as they saw a change in Meloni’s way of greeting. In Indian culture people greet others by joining both the hands together and say Namaste. Meloni was seen greeting the same way to others during the G7 Summit.
Modi And Meloni’s Friendship

To which Giorgia Meloni tweeted and responded “Good friends at COP28″#Melodi. This also strengthens the bond between India and Italy.
