Marian Robinson, mother of former First Lady Michelle Obama died at the age of 86. She was called the “first grandma” because she took care of her granddaughters, Malia and Sasha Obama when they lived in the White House out of love.

Marian moved to the White House with Michelle and Barack Obama to help support the family. During Barack Obama’s eight years as president, she remained a very big support and comforting throughout. The family said she passed away peacefully on Friday morning.
