BJP’s Loss in Uttar Pradesh

Although the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its allies, known as the NDA, won the elections, it is quite disappointing for the BJP that they suffered a significant loss in Uttar Pradesh. Despite this, Narendra Modi is set to become the Prime Minister of India for the third consecutive term. Although the BJP made considerable developments in Uttar Pradesh, such as the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, new airports, better railway stations, and many other improvements, the people of Uttar Pradesh still did not vote for the BJP. People across India are criticizing the voters in Uttar Pradesh, and memes targeting the people of Uttar Pradesh, especially those from Ayodhya, are circulating widely for causing the BJP’s loss in the state.

Sarcastic Reel getting Viral on Social Media

A reel is going viral on Instagram and other social media platforms in which a man sarcastically targets the people of Uttar Pradesh. His video is titled “Uttar Pradesh Election Explained by a UP Boy.” In the video, he says, “Everyone is talking about the UP elections and how there has been a turnaround in UP. Let me tell you how this happened.”

What did he say?

He sarcastically comments on various issues: “Social life in UP has come to a halt. Who asked you to provide 18-20-24 hours of electricity supply? We were fine before. In the summer, there was no electricity at night, and everyone would come outside, sit in the streets with chairs, and chat. You don’t understand that people in UP need 24 hours of nonsense. Regarding gas cylinders, our first cylinder wasn’t even finished, and you were sending us a second one. Why send it? We didn’t need it on time. We preferred the old way when we had to stand in line at 8 AM to get a cylinder, waiting until noon. It was a social event, with no stress. Now, you’ve ended all that.”

He continues, “A girl lives next door to us, and her father went to Meerut at night. On his way back, he was walking because someone had slapped him and stolen his vehicle. All that fun is now over. We don’t want this much security. The next day, the girl went to tuition and was kidnapped. We don’t want to see Mirzapur on TV; we want to see it in real life. Understand? We don’t need airports in Muradabad, Rampur, or Gorakhpur. We don’t need medical colleges in every district. You stopped all the sinful activities and built a temple,” referring to the Ram Mandir development.

Shaming People of UP

Everything the influencer said was a sarcastic commentary on the development done by the BJP, shaming the people of UP for what they did wrong to the BJP. He wanted to tell them they deserve the old bad conditions by comparing them to the new improvements and saying they don’t want good things.
