Dubai Princess Announces Divorce on Instagram

Dubai Princess Shaikha Mahra Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced her divorce from her husband, Sheikh Mana Bin Muhammad Bin Rashid Bin Mana Al Maktoum, on Instagram. The announcement came nearly ten months after their wedding and two months after the birth of their first child. Shaikha Mahra publicly addressed her husband, stating their divorce due to his involvement with other companions and performing the customary divorce three times. Social media users noted that both had unfollowed each other and removed photos, prompting speculation about blocked accounts and even hacking. Despite shock among users, many supported Shaikha Mahra’s decision, praising her empowerment and courage. Earlier, she had shared a photo with her daughter, captioned “Just the two of us,” which sparked further speculation about marital troubles. Shaikha Mahra, known for advocating women’s empowerment in the UAE, holds a degree in International Relations from a UK university.

Owaisi Calls CM Yogi Adityanath “Hitler”

AIMIM chief and Lok Sabha MP Asaduddin Owaisi condemned the Muzaffarnagar police’s directive requiring eateries on the Kanwar Yatra route to display owners’ names, alleging it promotes untouchability and violates constitutional rights. He criticized UP CM Yogi Adityanath, likening him to Hitler and accusing him of discriminating against Muslims, leading to job losses for many due to dhaba owners enforcing the order. Owaisi accused the government of favoring certain communities over others, questioning its commitment to constitutional values and accusing it of bowing to Hindutva pressure. He challenged Adityanath to justify the discriminatory order, asserting it undermines Muslim rights and equates to treating them as second-class citizens, contrary to constitutional principles.

Supreme Court’s Directive on NEET-UG 2024 Results

The Supreme Court instructed the National Testing Agency (NTA) to release NEET-UG 2024 results by July 20, concealing aspirants’ identities by city and center. Amid over 40 petitions, including claims of a question paper leak in Patna and Hazaribagh, the court reserved judgment on cancellation and re-testing pending proof of systemic irregularities. Justices highlighted social ramifications and questioned the extent of alleged leaks, emphasizing that any re-examination must ensure the exam’s sanctity. The bench postponed other cases to prioritize NEET-UG issues, underscoring the impact on lakhs of students awaiting resolution. The CBI’s ongoing probe into the alleged misconduct further complicates matters, with the bench cautious about premature revelations affecting investigations. Both the Centre and NTA argued against cancellation without substantial evidence, citing potential harm to honest candidates across 571 cities and 14 overseas locations where 23.33 lakh students appeared for the exam on May 5.

Acting on a tip-off, ATS raided the location, apprehending Yadav and Gajera on-site and Korat elsewhere. The operation yielded 4 kilograms of mephedrone and 31.4 kilograms of raw materials. Preliminary investigations revealed Yadav’s background in chemical trading and self-taught methods from the internet. The trio had already supplied 4 kg of mephedrone to a buyer in Mumbai.
