"I've told the DG of the Jammu and Kashmir police that if I travel by road, there shouldn't be a "green corridor" or a traffic stop. I've given him instructions to limit disruption to the public and to use sirens sparingly. Any stick-waving or combative gestures should be completely avoided. I'm requesting that my cabinet colleagues set an example of their own. Every action we do needs to be personable. Abdullah posted on X, "We are not here to inconvenience the people; we are here to serve them."
