Politics In the Film: Karnataka Government Stop Screening.

Now a day’s its not new to hear these types of statement from the government we have seen such types of bans in Indian southern state. The Films like Kashmir files, Kerla files, and now ‘ hamare baararh’ which is movie based on the story of a daughter who takes her father in the court to allow her mother to abort who is in the middle of a risky pregnancy the right to terminate the pregnancy in order to save her life.

Political scenario

Movies are the way to show the way of any location, society, culture, heritage, and specially someone’s Legacy like MAHABHARAT & RAMAYANA how do we understand this thing by Different medium and one of the medium is CINEMA the movies which are contemporary to our entertainment and to show something which is happening in the society.

From the early days Politicians have used this technique of banning or unbanning certain movies to make their vote bank happy and for long time songs & movies of different ideology are been making to spread their ideology through the masses for example song like mazdooroka nara hai jhanda lal hamara hai is way to spread the ideology of COMMUNISM to attract the labour and result today we have labour union. One more movie called jodha Akbar was released to show the relation of Akbar and jodha bai which initially attracted certain group of sects.

Even when movies like p.k, sambhaji 1689, were make to make voters happy these will initially benefit to the political party of that particular region.

Benefit

A party has its own ideology and that political party has to attract a vote bank of that particular ideology for example In Kerla we have Communist party of India which is communist, that’s why we have a famous movie called Dear Comrade. Which in communism means, fellow member of organization of communism. Same goes to Kashmir files which was very famous in the state of Madhya Pradesh because of Hindutva ideology.

Same goes to the Karnataka where we have Congress which basically focused on minority vote bank as other party are focused on their vote bank.
