BJP’s Mahila Morcha Protests at Kejriwal’s Residence

This morning, BJP’s Mahila Morcha led by Richa Pandey Mishra protested at Kejriwal’s Residence by carrying bangles in their hands, demanding Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal to resign over the issue of Aam Aadmi Party’s MP Swati Maliwal’s assault case which happened on monday.

Richa Pandey Mishra said, “The Mahila Morcha wants to handover the bangles to CM Arvind Kejriwal for being silent over the Swati Maliwal’s assault incident which happened at his residence, and demanding him to resign from his post.”

After four days of silence, Swati Maliwal has registered an FIR to Delhi Police. After proper investigation Bibhav Kumar, the personal assistant of CM Arvind Kejriwal was declared accused. A two-member team led by P.S Kushwaha an additional commissioner of police recorded statements of Maliwal’s after spending nearly four hours at Maliwal’s residence while investigating the case.

According to the registered FIR, Swati Maliwal said, “I was slapped and hit in the stomach and kicked” at Kejriwal’s Residency by Bibhav Kumar. She also claimed that after this incident happened, she ran out of the residence and immediately called Delhi Police and informed them about this matter.

Over the FIR filed by Maliwal, this morning Bibhav Kumar has been summoned by the National Commission for Women (NCW). Delhi police have cited him with Indian Penal Code (IPC) including sections 345 (molestation), 506/507 (criminal intimidation), and 509 (outraging a woman’s modesty). Over this Swati Maliwal’s assault case, BJP’s Mahila Morcha is targeting Kejriwal for being quiet over this case.
