CBI’s Ongoing Investigation

The CBI confirmed that the investigation into the case is still underway, indicating that the matter is not yet ready for arguments on charges. This move came amidst accusations of norm violations and lapses, coupled with claims of corruption.Implication of Sisodia and Others

As the former excise minister at the time of these events, Manish Sisodia was arrested in February of the current year. The allegations pertain to his role in the implementation and subsequent withdrawal of the excise policy. The investigation highlights the complexity of governance and the necessity for transparency in policy implementation.
