Fighting Poverty in Odisha
Naveen Patnaik spoke to his party members, he said something important, stating how things have changed in Odisha over the past 24 years. He mentioned Odisha being poor when he first became Chief Minister. About 70% of the people were struggling to live. But now, the situation has changed, only 10% of the population lives in poverty now. According to him, it is a big change, and he believes that it was possible because of his government.
BJD’s Work in Odisha
Naveen Patnaik is the leader of a political party called BJD of Odisha. He reminded everyone that his party has worked hard for the people of Odisha for the last 24 years bringing improvement and changes each year. They have been doing things to help improve the lives of the people in the state. He talked about how they focused on things like farming, water, and helping women. These efforts, according to him, have helped reduce poverty in Odisha.
