To poke fun at the Bharat Jodo Yatra, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released an animation movie depicting Rahul Gandhi on Sunday. The Congress responded angrily, saying that to term the video “pathetic” is an understatement.

The BJP released an over two-minute-long cartoon depicting Mr. Gandhi in which he is portrayed as Asrani from the film “Sholay.”

The film makes fun of the Congress MLAs who left Goa, the politicians who left the party and joined Ghulam Nabi Azad, and the infighting in Rajasthan, among other things.

“Why doesn’t suffering stop, mom? It’s done… Tata..goodbye,” the BJP tweeted in addition to the cartoon in an apparent allusion to Rahul Gandhi and his mother Sonia Gandhi.
