Technical Professional Education in India Foundation" Honored as 'BEST SERVING NGO of the Year 2025' with Azaadi Samman by IFF

On the proud occasion of India’s 79th Independence Day, the Incentive Foster Foundation (IFF) bestowed the prestigious Azaadi Samman 2025 – Best Serving NGO of the Year upon the 'Technical Professional Education in India Foundation' (TPE), an organization founded and guided by the visionary late Dr. Prabhakar Rao Chawre.

For over three decades, TPE has been transforming the lives of underprivileged and street children through accessible education, skill development, and vocational training. Founded in 1991 with the mission to rescue children from child labor and prepare them for self-reliance, TPE has empowered thousands to become skilled professionals, entrepreneurs, and responsible citizens.

Dr. Chawre, a renowned educationist, scientist, and social reformer, was honoured multiple times with nominations for the Padma Shri by the Government of India for his achievements in science, and once nominated for the Nobel Prize for his pioneering discoveries in genetic engineering. He dedicated his life to uplifting marginalized communities. Even in the face of personal adversity, he continued his research, authoring the book 'Science for Genetic Engineering' and challenging long-held evolutionary theories through his “Auto Genetic Theory of Evolution E-7.” He championed holistic empowerment through both academic and physical training, including martial arts for self-defense. His philosophy that “what society gives us, we must return many times over” remains the cornerstone of TPE’s work.

The Azaadi Samman 2025 stands as a tribute to TPE’s relentless service in nation-building, echoing Dr. Chawre’s lifelong belief that education is the most powerful tool for freedom and progress.
