The immensely popular Lock Upp Season 1 was hosted by Kangana Ranaut and saw a lot of well-known celebrities from the television world including drama queens and former Bigg Boss contestants.

With the huge success of the first season, the makers are planning the next season, which has been in the offing for some time now.
According to one source, actor Rayya Labib has been approached for the next season of Lock Upp.
Tik Tok star Akash Chowdhary’s name had also cropped up in some media reports.
Neither Rayya Labib or the makers ALT Balaji were available for comment regarding the commencement of the show or Rayya’s participation, but sources said she could be on board.
ALT Balaji has not announced any specific date as to when Lock Upp 2 will go on air, but sources said it could be on in the next two months and could go on for almost 3 months.
