Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's Dad Passes Away
Debendra Pradhan was also the head of the Odisha BJP in past times

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India] March 17: The senior bhartiya janta party leader Debendra Pradhan passed away on Monday. He was the minister in the government of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Pradhan was head of the Odisha BJP, passed away in New Delhi.
Mohan Charan Majhi, the chief minister, said he was a well-liked public figure and a skilled member.
It was easy for him to do his job as Union Minister for Transport and Agriculture from 1999 to 2001. As an MP and public person, but he had won the hearts of everyone by doing many good works Majhi said.
"He gave his entire life for the development of the state with an attitude of service and willpower," he said.
Majhi said that the state and country lost an excellent public employee.
The CM also talked to his son and told him how sorry he was. Naveen Patnaik, who is the leader of the opposition in the state assembly, said that Pradhan will be known for how well he planned things and how calm he was.
"The state has lost a prominent political figure and popular politician on the passing away of Dr Pradhan," he said.
