Actress Ananya Raj who played roles in Bollywood movies 'The Final Exit' (2017) and 'Ghost' (2019) has passed away at the age of 27 years.

In a note shared on her Instagram handle, the family revealed that the actor had been struggling with physical and mental health for over a year and breathed her last peacefully in her sleep on July 15.

Having grown up in Mumbai, the actor came into the entertainment industry through movies and music videos. She made her debut in Bollywood with the movie 7 Hours to Go.

Raj worked in regional cinema as well, having signed movies such as Telugu film 'Thaggede Le' and the trilingual film 'Madrasi Gang'.
