India’s Anahat Singh won the silver medal in women’s singles squash at the 2026 Asian Games.

The 18-year-old faced Malaysia’s Sivasangari Subramaniam in the gold-medal match but lost 4-11, 4-11, 7-11.

Anahat had made a stunning comeback, beating Japan’s world No. 6 Satomi Watanabe 3-2 after losing the first two games.

Her silver is a historic achievement as she became the first Indian woman to reach an Asian Games singles squash final.
