Actor Ayushmann Khurrana reportedly received a threatening audio message from a person claiming links to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Mumbai Police began investigating the audio message and examining the sender’s identity. Officials were also verifying the claimed gang connection.

Police arrested 30-year-old Bengaluru IT engineer Vaibhav Mishra for allegedly sending threats to Khurrana and other actors.

Police said the accused had no established link to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and he allegedly used the gang’s name after recent celebrity incidents.
