Delhi Police’s Crime Branch has summoned Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka, a day after their release from Tihar Jail.

The summons is linked to the October 13 protest at Jantar Mantar, where the leaders allegedly attempted to enter a restricted area and unfurl the national flag.

CJP member Ajinkya Shinde has also been called for questioning as police continue investigating the protest-related cases.

Das and Ranka were released after seven days in judicial custody. The fresh summons means Das and Ranka may have to face further questioning despite their release.
