Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell announced his retirement from international cricket on November 3, 2026. He ends his 14-year career with Australia.

Maxwell said he wants to focus on his physical fitness. He also retires from Victoria’s four-day and 50-over cricket.

Maxwell represented Australia in 149 ODIs, 130 T20Is and seven Tests. He was part of three World Cup-winning teams in 2015, 2021 and 2023.
