Police Issue Notice

2 Entertainment Bollywood actor Imran Khan has been asked to leave India by October 28. Mumbai Police issued the notice following his participation in a protest in Mumbai.

Protest Against CEC

3 Entertainment Imran Khan took part in a protest at August Kranti Maidan on October 10. The demonstration demanded the resignation of CEC Gyanesh Kumar.

Actor Was Detained

4 Entertainment Imran Khan was among those detained by police during the protest. He is an American citizen and holds an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card.

Complaint Led To Action

5 Entertainment BJP leader Kirit Somaiya filed a complaint seeking action against the actor. The matter was referred to the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO).
