Actor Imran Khan has sought supporting documents from the FRRO over a notice proposing cancellation of his OCI status.

Khan described the reasons given in the notice as vague and contradictory. He said he needed more details to respond.

The notice followed his involvement in an October 10 protest at Mumbai’s August Kranti Maidan against the Election Commission.

The Bombay High Court has kept the order asking Khan to leave India on hold until November 2, with no coercive action in the meantime.
