India convincingly wins over Sri Lanka to lift the Women’s Asia Cup trophy after a strong all-round performance.

India produced a strong batting display in the Asia Cup final, posting 183/5 after winning the toss and choosing to bat first against Sri Lanka.

Shafali smashed 68 runs from 39 balls, including the fastest fifty in Women’s Asia Cup history in 24 balls. Smriti Mandhana scored 59 from 39 balls, helping India build a 129-run opening partnership with Shafali.

India’s bowlers kept taking wickets regularly, stopping Sri Lanka from building strong partnerships during the chase. Shree Charani took four wickets, while Deepti Sharma took three.
