India Gears Up to Host 18th BRICS Leaders’ Summit

2 International New Delhi is scheduled to host the 18th BRICS Summit on September 12 and 13 where the Prime Minister Narendra Modi will host the leaders of the BRICS bloc.

Summit Begins On September 12

3 International The main leaders' programme will start on 12th September, where heads of 11 member countries of the BRICS forum would join the summit.

Focus on Global Issues

4 International The summit is to be hosted at Bharat Mandapam. It will comprise of issues like global governance, multilateralism, investment, trade, energy and food security.

Tight Security Across Delhi

5 International New Delhi will see a large security deployment with thousands of security personnel at the airports, hotels and Bharat Mandapam.
