Indian judo players had an excellent day as Asmita Dey and Harsh Singh picked up gold medals at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
In a historic feat, Asmita became the first Indian judoka to claim a Commonwealth Games gold, beating Canada's Heidi Quach in the final of the women's -48kg category.
Harsh Singh added India's second Commonwealth Games gold in judo after beating Australia's Joshua Katz in the men's -60kg final in Glasgow.
